Martin Grellmann (drums)

from my earliest childhood onwards i grew up with music. my father had a great collection of "western"-rockmusic like jethro tull, the band, billy joel and especially udo lindenberg. i started taking piano lessons but changed after 5 years the instrument. from that onwards i'm a drummer. my musical interest changed also completely and punkrock became my life. with dorit and other friends of mine i played in a band called "o.u.t.". it was a crossover band like such a surge i would say. we recorded two demo tapes and released two songs on a sampler. later then i bought my first drum&bass record which was "still smokin'" by the ganja kru. i started collecting records and did my first steps as a dj. my dj name is no.data and now i mix records of dj teebee, polar, marcus intalex and so on. i like the athmospheric and also dark side of drum&bass. my musical interest became broader and now i listen to very different kinds of music like dEUS, air, calexico, tricky, richard ashcroft, plaid, nick cave, stone temple pilots, the weakerthans...

music is the main part of me. i was always feeling like living in the current of music and flowing with it. looking onto my life i understand it best with this backround. it is my way. and especially face-about-face is an oppurtunity as well as a challenge for me to share my ideas with the musical visions of 4 good friens of mine.
